I am a born and raised Seattlite, fourth-generation Norwegian American, raised to believe we were one boat-ride away from Norway. I graduated from the University of Washington, hold a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and am certified as a culinarian from Seattle Culinary Academy. I am married to Ron Irving, and the mother of two wonderful and lovely children.
